KTA was selected to provide mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services for the new 91,000 square foot Alarm.com Headquarters located in McLean, Virginia.

 

The project involves the design and construction administration for four and one half floors of corporate office space. KTA’s design will modify the existing base building VAV system to meet the new tenant layout, and design new dedicated units to serve the new MDF and IDF rooms. The mechanical systems design also includes a 100% outside air supplemental unit to provide ventilation, cooling and heating for the new first floor conference center.

 

The electrical design consists of a new critical uninterruptable standby power (UPS) distribution system, support of the UPS by the existing 750kW tenant generator, lighting, fire alarm and raceways for low voltage systems.
