As the selected DCRA Third Party Plan Review Agency for this mixed-use development along 1st Street, SE, KTA’s Peer Review Studio provided multi-discipline plan review of four permit packages: including one new high-rise hotel; a second high-rise hotel shell tower; a 325 unit, high-rise apartment building; and a new, low-rise retail building. Presented as two packages, but part of one building, the hotel shell tower and apartment building also provided a below-grade parking garage with 233 spaces, and occupied roof with swimming pool, lounge areas, a bar, and space for viewing outdoor movies.
