KTA provided the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering design services for the new 200,000 square foot Terremark Worldwide, Inc.’s campus in Culpeper, Virginia, known as the NAP of the Capital Region. Terremark Worldwide, Inc. is a leading operator of integrated Internet exchanges and a global provider of managed IT infrastructure solutions for government and private sectors.

Terremark is headquartered in Miami, Florida, The NAP of the Capital Region boasts two (2) 50,000 square foot data centers; pad sites for three (3) future 50,000 square foot data centers, a 60,500 square foot office building, encompassing a 7,500 square foot 100-seat auditorium; a 500 square foot gatehouse; and a 3,000 square foot shipping and receiving yard. Also included in the design service is the development of the master site plan for the distribution of electrical, telecommunications, and fiber services to campus buildings.
