PRESIDENT

BACKGROUND:

Mr. Thompson is the President of KTA.  He is responsible for managing our highly skilled engineering staff in the production of design documents and studies for complex mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for new and renovated buildings. He provides oversight of the quality assurance and technical review of all engineering products to ensure local, state, and federal requirements are met as well as our own internal company standards.  His background is in electrical system studies, designs, and project commissioning for government, commercial and institutional facilities.  He has extensive experience working with owners, operators, contractors, and associated professionals.

Randy received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University, is a registered professional engineer (PE), and a Qualified Commissioning Provider (QCxP). He is a member of the Society of  Military Engineers (SAME), National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), Design Build Institute (DBIA), and National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
